O Lord Jesus Christ, Son of God, for the sake of the prayers of your most pure Mother and all the saints, have mercy on us. Amen.

Glory to you, our God, glory to you.

O heavenly King, Comforter, the Spirit of truth, everywhere present and filling all things; Treasury of good things and Giver of life: Come and abide in us and cleanse us from every impurity, and save our souls, O good one.

(From Easter to Ascension, say rather “Christ is risen from the dead, trampling down death by death, and upon those in the tombs bestowing life!” 3x)

Holy God, Holy Mighty, Holy Immortal: have mercy on us. (3x)

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

O, Most Holy Trinity, have mercy on us. Lord, cleanse us from our sins. Master, pardon our transgressions. Holy One, visit and heal our infirmities for your Name’s sake.

Lord, have mercy. (3x)

Glory to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: now and ever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Our Father, in heaven, hallowed be your Name; your kingdom come; your will be done on earth, as in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our sins, as we forgive those who sin against us; save us from the time of trial, and deliver us from the Evil One.

Lord, have mercy. (12x)

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and forever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Come, let us worship God, our King, and bow down before him.
Come, let us worship Christ God, our King, and bow down before him.
Come, let us worship Christ, our King and our God, and bow down before him.

Psalm 5
Give ear to my words, O Lord, understand my outcry. Give heed to the voice of my cry, my King and my God, for to you will I pray, O Lord. In the morning you shall hear my voice, O Lord, in the morning I will stand before you and you shall behold me. For you are not a God who takes pleasure in wickedness, nor shall the evildoer dwell with you. The transgressors shall not stand in your sight; you hate all the workers of iniquity. You shall destroy all those that speak lies; the Lord abhors the man of violence and deceit. But as for me, I will come into your house in the fullness of your mercy, in fear of you I will worship toward your holy temple. Lead me, O Lord, in your righteousness because of my enemies, make straight your way before me. For there is no truth in their mouth, their heart is an empty thing, their throat is an open grave, they lie with their tongues. Judge them, O God, let them fall by their own counsels, cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions, for they have provoked you, O Lord. But let all those that put their trust in you rejoice; forever they will shout for joy, for you will dwell in them, and all those that love your name will glory in you, for you will bless the righteous. O Lord, you have crowned us with the shield of your good will.

Psalm 89
O Lord, you have been our refuge, from generation to generation. Before the mountains came to be, before creation was fashioned, before the lands of our homes were, from everlasting to everlasting, you, O God, are. Let not man be debased and laid low, say: Return, O you sons of men. For a thousand years in your sight are like yesterday when it is past, and like a watchin in the night. Their years shall be as worthless things, their morning fading like young grass, at dawn blooming, then fading, at dusk drooping all the way down, withered now and dried out. For we were unmade by your wrath. You have set our iniquities before you, our life in the light of your countenance. For all our days have faded away, in your rage we have been unmade, our years having no more strength than a spider’s web has. Our days may reach seventy years, and if we stay strong, perhaps eighty, but most of them are toil and sorrow, for when mildness comes upon us, we shall be chastened at last. Who could measure your anger’s strength? in our awe, how measure your wrath? So make known your right hand to us that our hearts be held fast in wisdom. How long, O Lord? Relent! To your servants be comforter. We were filled by your mercy every morning, all our days we rejoiced and were glad. Gladden us for all the days you humbled us, for the years we saw only evil. Behold your servants and your works, give guidance to their sons, and let our Lord’s splendor be upon us, guide the works of our hands rightly for us, the works of our hands guide aright.

Psalm 100
To you, O Lord, will I sing of mercy and judgement, I will change with wisdom in a perfect way. When will you come to me? I have walked within my house with a perfect heart. I have not set before my eyes any works of transgression, I have hated evildoers. A twisted heart never clung to me, the evil man who shunned me, I never knew him. The one who secretly slanders his neighbor, I kept turning away from him, the one with arrogant look and ravenous heart, I would never break bread with him. I kept my gaze fixed upon the faithful in the land, the one walking on the perfect way, he would serve God with me. No worker of evil would ever dwell in the midst of my house, no speaker of wicked things would ever stand straight in my eyes. I kept on every morning slaying all the sinners of the earth, so as to uproot from God’s city all those who work iniquity.

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: both now and forever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

Alleluia, Alleluia, Alleluia, glory to you O God. (3x).

What shall we call you, O Full of grace? Heaven? For you made the Sun of righteousness to dawn. Paradise? For you made the flower of incorruption blossom. Virgin? For you remained incorrupt. Pure Mother? For you held in your holy embrace a Son who is the God of all. Implore him that our souls may be saved.

Direct my steps by your teaching, and let no iniquity rule over me. Set me free from every man’s slander and I will keep your commandments. Make your countenance shine upon your servant and teach me your statutes. Let my mouth be filled with your prase that I may sing of your glory, sing your magnificence all the day.

Daily Hymnody

Lord have mercy. (40x)

O good God, so very rich in patience and mercy, who are adored and praised at all times and at evey moment in heaven and on earth! You love the just and spare the sinner, inviting all to salvation with the promise of the good things to come! O Lord, accept our prayer at this time, and direct our lives according to your commandments. Sanctify our souls and bodies. Set straight our reasoning, purify and sober our understanding, and deliver us from every affliction, from every evil and illness. Surround us with your holy angels as with a rampart, that, guided and protected by their defense, we may reach unity in faith and the knowledge of your inaccessible glory. For blessed are you unto ages of ages. Amen.

Lord, have mercy. (3x)

Glory be to the Father, and to the Son, and to the Holy Spirit: now and forever, and unto ages of ages. Amen.

You are more honourable than the cherubim, beyond compare more glorious than the seraphim! In Virginity you gave birth to God, the word: O you who are truly Theotokos, we extol you!

Lord, Bless!

Through the prayers of our holy fathers and mothers, O Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on us! Amen.

Christ, the true light, who enlighten and hallow everyone who comes into the world, may the light of your countenance be signed upon us, that in it we may see your unapproachable light; and direct our steps to the doing of your commandments; at the intercessions of your most pure Mother and of all your Saints. Amen.
